The community is sharing art, music and new friends in this ARTreach program befitting senior citizens.

This ARTreach program serves the elderly, assisted seniors and Alzheimer’s patients in care.

Sometimes, moving from an independent lifestyle to an assisted lifestyle can be a difficult transition, no matter how important and necessary. Making new friends and feeling connected to a new home is an important part of the healthy transition.

New senior living communities are being built to accommodate the range of needs including assisted living, and Alzheimer’s care. ARTreach is connecting art opportunities to seniors through volunteers and fine art partnerships within the community.

Weekly arts and crafts, music, theater arts, volunteers, and field trips to local art studios are part of this ARTreach Program. Financial contributions and in-kind donations of studio time or art supplies are appreciated, or volunteer your time being a friend through art!
