ABOUT KATY ARTREACH

MENTORING THROUGH ART
Katy ARTReach pairs art mentors with Children at Risk, Troubled Youth, Families in Crisis and the Elderly as identified through our school districts and local social service organizations in the Katy/Fort Bend County area.

Mentoring Through Art can become the vehicle for establishing a long term and caring relationship between a mentor and a child. Katy ARTReach Mentors provide support and encouragement to children at risk, the troubled youth, families in crisis and the elderly through weekly one-on-one sessions and small group workshops. Art can become an avenue for expressing emotion, as well as a positive and creative outlet for children and adults in need.
